Re-Opening on 9 Aug: In line with Scottish Government guidelines, the hall will be available for bookings with some conditions. Both the Main Hall and meeting room will be bookable but the showers still remain closed. Masks should still be worn on entry and when moving around.

Test and Protect: All bookers are now required to supply the names and contact tel no. of all those attending. A sample of this form can be viewed here: Contact Names and Tel No. No one showing symptoms of Covid-19 should enter the hall.
The Hall is a charitable organisation run by a committee of locals and overseen by 4 trustees all of whom give up their own time and meet on a regular basis.
With a Chairman, Secretary, Treasurer and Bookings Secretary.
All possible lets during the Covid Pandemic must follow the Booking Terms and Conditions during the Pandemic
The hall also has a disabled toiet and a Baby Changing facility
The car park and surrounding area MUST be quiet by 12.30am
Concession rate is available to Thornhill residents and groups for non- commercial activities only.
The Thornhill Flower Show is held in the Community Hall
The hall is surrounded by a football field and a children's playpark.
The Kitchen is used regularly by Tea 'n Chat group and others..
Many local shows are put on here from The Thornhill Players to The Young farmers.
With plenty tables and chairs, the main hall can hold large meetings and Workshops.
Every year couples choose to use the hall for their wedding.
The stage is regularly used by the Thornhill Players who put on plays every year. This is one was Rumours.
The McLaren High Pipe Band led everyone to the hall for the Xmas Lighy up.
